Senior Akali Dal leader Parambans Singh Bunty Romana has reportedly been stopped at the Toronto airport.
Confirming the development, sources in the Shiromani Akali Dal said NRI Akali supporters along with a Canadian MP were trying to secure his entry into the country.
Sources said Romana’s entry was allegedly blocked as he had not obtained the required police clearance and was visiting the country allegedly for carrying out political activity.
