The pledge aligns with initiatives such as the ASEAN NCAP (New Car Assessment Program), ensuring Malaysian vehicles meet global safety regulations. MG currently sells the MG4, MG5, ZS and Cyberster. The only one of these models that have been put through the ASEAN NCAP programme is the ZS, which scored 5 stars in 2020 for a Thai-spec model with a 1.5L petrol engine.
