Salernitana have sacked Pippo Inzaghi.
The AC Milan great was dismissed after Friday's defeat to Empoli.
The decision was made just days after president Danilo Iervolino had rejected Inzaghi's offer to resign.
Former Lecce, Parma and Cagliari coach Fabio Liverani is expected to step in as Inzaghi's replacement.
Serse Cosmi and Massimo Oddo have also been mentioned.
