Arsenal defender William Saliba is set to get his first team chance this season.
The French centre-half has been with the club for the past three years, but has not played a competitive game in that time.
Most of Saliba's Gunners spell has included loan moves to Ligue 1, with his most recent spell last season at Marseille an unqualified success.
He is set to get a chance to show what he can do in pre-season training, as he aims to work his way into manager Mikel Arteta's team.
Saliba will battle Ben White and Gabriel Malaghoes for a starting spot.
