Kurukshetra Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena on Friday directed district officials to ensure that the complaints received at Samadhan Shivir camps were resolved in a timely manner and all action taken reports were uploaded on the portal.
According to official information, as many as 8,029 complaints have been received at Samadhan Shivirs in the district, of which 5,348 complaints have been resolved, while 2,373 have been rejected. Over 300 complaints have been reopened and are pending.
DC Meena said officials across departments must ensure that complaints were taken seriously and resolved with due diligence. While resolving a complaint, officials should ensure that the petitioner is fully satisfied, thereby preventing the petitioner from having to repeatedly lodge the same complaint at the Samadhan Shivir or the CM Window. “Officials must ensure that an action taken report is uploaded to the portal immediately after the resolution process is complete,” he added.
The DC was chairing a meeting with officials from various departments to review the progress of complaints received through Samadhan Shivirs.
