Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 lineup may disappoint fans hoping for major camera improvements. According to a recent leak from trusted tipster Ice Universe, all three models are expected to retain the same 10MP ISOCELL sensor for their 3x telephoto cameras.

Familiar Sensor Returns for Galaxy S26 Telephoto Lens

The sensor in question is the 10MP 1/3.94-inch ISOCELL with a 1.0μm pixel pitch and a 36° field of view, paired with an f/2.4 aperture lens. This setup mirrors the 67mm f/2.4 telephoto camera found in the Galaxy S25 and S25+, which lacked advanced features like pixel binning and enhanced digital zoom capabilities.

Incremental Upgrade Over Galaxy S25 Series

If the rumors hold true, the Galaxy S26 series will offer only modest changes over its predecessor. The Galaxy S25 Ultra introduced a higher-resolution 50MP ultrawide sensor, but it wasn’t physically larger, and the base and Plus models retained their previous camera hardware. The S26 series appears to follow a similar path, focusing on refinement rather than innovation.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup is expected to be unveiled on 25th February 2026, though this date remains unconfirmed. Fans and tech enthusiasts will be watching closely to see if any surprises are in store.
