Samsung Malaysia has officially turned on the Sleep Apnea function for Malaysia after officially obtaining the Medical Device Registration Certificate from the country’s Medical Device Authority for meeting the stringent health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
As one of the most common yet underdiagnosed sleep conditions, sleep apnea is actually quite dangerous and is chronic for affected groups. Therefore, physical well-being augmented by technology, in this case, comes in the form of helping users analyze their sleep patterns, receive personalized coaching, and improve their sleep environment.
Aside from Malaysia, Samsung also enabled this setting for Australia and Singapore after being certified for operation from the respective government bodies, joining the existing verified regions of the USA, South Korea, Brazil, and Canada.
