
SANDAKAN: Audrie Jialin Tubong, 21, was crowned Unduk Ngadau Sandakan 2023 at the district-level Kaamatan Festival celebration at the Sandakan Community Hall, Saturday.
She received prizes in the form of RM3,000 in cash, tiara, trophy, bouquet of flowers, sash, hamper, health products, vouchers and gold bracelet.
The first runner-up went to Paula Kristine Babango, 26, who received RM2,000, a trophy, bouquet of flowers, hamper, health goods and vouchers.
Third place was won by Henrietta David, 25, who received RM1,500, a trophy, a bouquet of flowers, a hamper, health goods and health goods vouchers.

The prizes were presented by Sandakan Member of Parliament, Vivian Wong, who also officiated at the ceremony.
Also present was Unduk Ngadau Sabah 2022 who is also Unduk Ngadau Sandakan 2022, Frenerietta Sobitun.
Audrie will represent the district at the State-level Unduk Ngadau Competition in Hongkod Koisaan on May 30 and 31.
