
SANDAKAN: The Sawit POIC Industrial Park, Sandakan is a prime example of how modern infrastructure and strategic planning can enhance the efficiency and sustainability of Sandakan industrial activities.
Chairman of Sabah Development Berhad, Datuk Frankie Poon said this after a visit to the Sawit POIC Industrial Park, Sandakan, alongside Deputy Minister of Plantation and Commodities, Datuk Chan Foong Hin recently.
This visit underscores the importance of continued collaboration and investment in Sabah’s palm oil industry, a vital sector that contributes significantly to the state’s economy.
Frankie said that the presentations and site visit provided valuable insights into the advanced facilities at the park, including the dedicated palm oil jetty and bulking installation, which are critical for the smooth operation and expansion of our palm oil export capabilities.
