SANDAKAN: Karamunting Assemblyman, George Hiew Vun Zin called on tourism players and tour operators to include the Sandakan Art Trail and Bazaar in their tour packages for tourists.
He said this while officiating at the “Jejak Seni Sandakan” programme at The Piazza, Harbour Square, here, recently.
Also present were Sungai Manila Assemblyman Mokran Inkat, Assemblyman Datuk Jaffari Waliam, Sabah Motac Director Ibrahim Othman, Sandakan Municipal Council (MPS) 1 Deputy President Wilson Thomas and Council Tourism Department Head Ivy Clara Atian.
There were 50 booths for small traders, creative arts and products at the two-day programme which included traditional singing, dance performances and dragon boats.
