MANILA, Philippines — The Sandiganbayan Third Division on Thursday signed the commitment order for former speaker Martin Romualdez’s detention at the BJMP Male Dormitory in Payatas, Quezon City.
Romualdez, however, will remain in the hospital for now due to his medical condition, with the BJMP taking charge of his security and custody.
“Make sure you post your BJMP guards to the Cardinal Santos Medical Center,” the court said.
Three doctors were also present before the court to testify on Romualdez’s medical condition.
