Santorini Is Calling, And HLB Connect Has Your Ticket

Hong Leong Bank is giving HLB Connect users the chance to collect Connect Points through everyday banking activities. The grand prize is a RM20,000 travel voucher for two to Santorini, Greece.

The HLB Connect Tap to Escape Promotion 2026 runs from 21 September to 20 November 2026. There are also travel vouchers for Chengdu, a Machines gift card and RM100 cash prizes up for grabs.

Ways To Rack Up Connect Points

If you’re an existing HLB Connect user, you can earn points by logging in and completing eligible transactions during the promotion period.

You can earn points from things you probably already do, including:

5 points for a DuitNow to Account transfer of at least RM10
30 points for a DuitNow QR payment to a local merchant
20 points for a bill payment of at least RM10
20 points for an overseas transfer of at least RM1,000
10 points for a prepaid reload of at least RM10
100 points for placing an eFixed Deposit/eFixed Deposit-i via HLB Connect

You can also earn points from FPX payments, cross-border QR payments, foreign currency conversions and linking an HLB account to an HLB Singapore account via LINKS.

Each transaction comes with its own daily and promotion-period limits, so you can’t simply go on a DuitNow spree and expect unlimited points.

New HLB Connect users can also earn 500 points by opening an eligible CASA/CASA-i account online and logging into HLB Connect at least once during the promotion period.

You can also earn 200 points for each friend or family member who successfully opens an eligible account through the HLB Connect app.

So, What Do The Points Do?

The Connect Points aren’t prizes themselves. They’re used to earn entries into the promotion’s prize draws.

You’ll need:

8,000 points for one entry into the Grand Prize draw
5,000 points for one entry into the Second Prize draw
3,000 points for one entry into the Third Prize draw

And your points aren’t deducted when you earn an entry.

For example, someone with 11,370 Connect Points would get one entry into the Grand Prize draw, two entries into the Second Prize draw and three entries into the Third Prize draw.

A Santorini Trip Isn’t The Only Prize

The grand prize is a RM20,000 travel voucher for two to Santorini, Greece. Two winners will also receive RM10,000 travel vouchers for a trip for two to Chengdu, China.

Four winners will get RM5,000 Machines Gift Cards, while another 500 eligible customers will receive RM100 cash prizes based on their accumulated Connect Points after the main prize draws.

Who Can Take Part

The promotion is open to new and existing individual customers who use HLB Connect and have an eligible HLB or HLB Islamic current or savings account, HLB Meezani Account-i and/or HLB credit card.

However, some previous HLB Connect promotion winners can still participate, but won’t be eligible to win prizes this time around. HLB’s permanent, contract and temporary staff are also excluded from winning.

There’s also a one-prize-per-person rule, so you can only win one prize throughout the promotion period.

Before You Start Tapping

The travel vouchers can be used for flights, hotels, airport transfers and other travel services provided by Holiday Tours & Travel. However, they’re subject to availability, can only be redeemed once, and any costs exceeding the voucher value will have to be paid by the winner.

The vouchers are also non-refundable, non-transferable and can’t be exchanged for cash. Winners are responsible for their own travel documents, permits and visas where applicable.

For the Machines gift card, it can only be used for physical product purchases at Machines stores in Malaysia, and each gift card can only be used in a single transaction. Any unused balance will be forfeited.

The promotion ends on 20 November 2026, with winners due to be notified by 1 February 2027.
