Sanusi arrested at 2.30am, now in court to face charges

KUALA LUMPUR – Kedah caretaker menteri besar Kedah Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Noor was detained early this morning and has been brought to the Selayang sessions court to face charges under the Sedition Act.

The PAS politician arrived at 9am at the courthouse and will be represented by lawyer Datuk Shahruddin Ali. 

Berita Harian reported that Sanusi was arrested at a hotel room in Mont Kiara, here, at around 2.30am. 

He was detained by a police unit from Bukit Aman’s Classified Crime Investigation Unit and the D7 Gangsterism Prevention Unit. – Bernama, July 18, 2023
