- Irish actor Saoirse Ronan has revealed that she’s keen to join the cast of the next Bond film as the iconic British spy’s next villain.
- Ronan's husband, Slow Horses star Jack Lowden, is currently considered one of the frontrunners to play 007.
- “I said that I wanted to be a Bond villain and I’m dead serious,” she told Empire magazine. “I think it would be really interesting, having a young female villain.”
- Should both actors be cast, they would become the first married couple to star opposite one another in a James Bond movie.
- The pair previously co-starred in the 2018 historical drama Mary Queen of Scots before reportedly marrying in July 2024.
