
SANDAKAN: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) is opening more new branches here, said its Sandakan Zone Chairman Datuk Richard Yong.
“We are pleased to acknowledge four new branches in Elopura which added to seven and one new branch under Karamunting and brought along 150 new members.
“The new branches are in Sri Taman, Taman Mutiara, Taman Mesra and Taman Sentosa under Elopura State seat and one new branch in Karamunting State seat.
“Soon, another three new branches will be opened up in Elopura. I believe there will be more,” Richard said, adding there are 15 branches here including the new five branches and 10 existing branches in Tanjung Papat.

The newly-appointed Deputy Speaker said opening of the new branches is good indication for the party’s success in recruiting new members that could strengthen the party’s position in Sabah.
He said it also reflects the solid support and commitment given by the new members based on SAPP’s vision and mission.
