KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) president Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee (pic) said the party’s next steps will only be announced after its supreme council meeting tomorrow (Saturday), following the recent split with Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).

Yong made the remarks during a birthday celebration at the party headquarters, where he light-heartedly shared that he had enjoyed a restful night, drawing laughter from party members and staff.

The gathering, attended by veterans, senior leaders and members, came a day after GRS confirmed it had parted ways with Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (StarSabah) and SAPP, with Yong appearing at ease as he addressed his supporters.
