
KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) will be contesting in the next State Election using Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) logo, despite being part of Perikatan Nasional (PN).
Announcing this, its President Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee said the party is eyeing to defend contesting its traditional seat, Likas, as well as Luyang, one or two seats in Sandakan and one or two seats in Tawau.
“My will (for SAPP) for the upcoming State election is to contest using the GRS logo headed by Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor.
“I announced this during the annual general meeting (AGM) of SAPP Sandakan Zone last month and in this AGM of SAPP Kota Kinabalu Zone here.

Yong, also nominated assemblyman, said this to reporters after officiating the AGM of SAPP Kota Kinabalu Zone involving SAPP Kota Kinabalu, SAPP Sepanggar and SAPP Putatan, here, Sunday.
