POLICE in Sibu, Sarawak arrested a local man after he was shown on video walking along a street brandishing a sword akin to those used in kungfu movies. The clip was posted on social media.

Sibu police chief Zulkipli Suhaili said the 41-year-old suspect was arrested at his home early this morning.

“The man was shown on video walking along Jalan Wong King Huo yesterday, brandishing a kwan tao.

“He was arrested at 12.45am today and is being investigated for being in possession of a dangerous weapon,” Zulkipli said in a statement.
