During the Pahang Open athletics competition at the Darul Makmur Stadium, he achieved an impressive distance of 18.46 meters, surpassing his own previous record of 17.67 meters set last year at the Mokpo International Championships in South Korea, The Star reported.
His earlier throw of 18.09 meters had already broken the national record, but in his final attempt, he gave it his all to reaffirm his position as the undisputed national number one in the shot putt event.
