Sassuolo chief Giovanni Carnevali has confirmed he has talks with PSG director Luis Campos over Gianluca Scamacca.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with the Italian striker as they look to boost their attacking corps this summer.
But PSG might have an edge on the English side due to Carnevali's relationship with Campos.
"Luis Campos is a friend, we also met at the Champions League final," he told Sky Sports Italia.
"We spoke about a number of players, but certainly Scamacca was the topic of the conversation. I think he is an interesting player for many clubs."
