Sassuolo chief Giovanni Carnevali is happy for Davide Frattesi over his move to Inter Milan.
The midfielder has joined Inter on-loan with an option to buy.
Inter saw off competition from Frattesi's former club Roma to land the Italy international.
Carnevali said: Sassuolo have shown that you can stay in Serie A a long time by developing young players.
So to answer, no, I'm not sad to see him go," he added. I'm happy to see him get his big move."
