Sassuolo coach Alessio Dionisi says he'd like to stay next season.
Dionisi is set to discuss new terms with the Sassuolo board.
He said, "Not taken for granted because for me nothing is ever taken for granted, seen from the outside it may seem so but from the inside nothing should be taken for granted.
"Honestly, it's not that I had doubts about the comparison between me and the club, zero doubts, but that I had so many confirmations that I had what I thought I could expect but it wasn't obvious. We have the same idea of what should be done.
"I say it should because it doesn't just depend on us, it depends on the others, it depends on the prospects, but we have clear ideas on what the next Sassuolo team should have, it being understood that we can have little impact on who will leave us but we can determine who must leave in addition to the candidates for more important teams."
