Sassuolo have sacked coach Alessio Dionisi.
Dionisi has been dismissed and replaced by Emiliano Bigica, who steps up from the Primavera team.
Sassuolo announced last night: "The club thanks the coach and his staff for the commitment and seriousness shown at the helm of the Neroverdi and wishes him and his collaborators the best luck for the future.
"The leadership of the first team is temporarily entrusted to the Primavera coach Emiliano Bigica."
Sassuolo currently sit in 17th position on the Serie A table on goal difference.
