Najib - A totally misunderstood Politician

Iskandar dzulkarnain 1.10

Ex Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak was pardoned by the King last September and is expected to taste freedom sometime this month, once the RM50 million fine imposed by the courts has been paid. Today thankfully, nearly RM10 million has been collected so it won’t be long now before Najib is freed to serve the remainder of his sentence at his simple home in Langgak Duta.

Fierce critics however, are totally against the idea of Najib’s pardon and many are trying to ensure he stays in Prison where he belongs, including the Malaysian Bar Association who are questioning the legality of the pardon.

So, it is a sad fact that Najib does not have the money to buy his freedom. His paltry assets are frozen so he has no way to pay the government. UMNO has set up a RM50 million donation drive to free Najib calling on kind and considerate Malaysians whether rich or poor to donate as Najib is too poor to afford the money. However, many vindictive Malaysians have abused the system by donating between 1 cent and 50 cents but taking the opportunity to shower expletives and abusive comments against the poor ex-Prime Minister.

This is so uncalled for as RM50million is equivalent to 5 billion cents while the world population is only about 8 billion people. Najib has been accused of pocketing 2.6 billion ringgit which is less than the figure of 5 billion. Living standards in this country has shot through the roof and RM2.6 billion which is chicken feed isn’t nearly enough for a once great leader like Najib to retire with. Besides Najib has returned over RM2 billion to the deceased Saudi King: which sadly is the only person who could vouch for his innocence. Another very senior minister has also vouched for his innocence but the public never took this evidence seriously.

So Najib continues to rot in prison even though he claims it was political assassination. But how can that not be true if other senior politicians who were charged for corruption were DNAA’d or NFA’d without their defense being called? So Najib is the victim here while those he tried to protect in the past are still free to party until dawn?

The Bugis Warrior

Najib is a true Bugis Warrior who had an illustrious past, while being touted as the youngest Chief Minister in Malaysian history, and through sheer honest hard work he finally gained the opportunity to become the Prime Minister of this country until his downfall as Malaysians grew weary of UMNO’s absurd antics and unjustly voted the party out. But despite their downfall UMNO continues to rule the country under a Unity Government while promising to release their President for unjust incarceration.

Political Assassination

Despite widespread political and character assassination by the media and social media about his alleged involvement in submarines that cannot dive, a pregnant Mongolian who was blown to bits, a fake Saudi Prince that goes by the name of Jho Low famous for the 680 American Pies and even carcasses who were cemented in oil drums. These were all fake news generated by AI, with no plausible proof whatsoever to support it:

So Najib went on proudly to become the Prime Minister of this great beloved nation. This tall, pale with a tinge of pink, and handsome man was the hero of the nation, brushing shoulders with the top elite leaders of this world, golfing with American Presidents and everything he touched turned into gold.

His transient aura was so overwhelming that even an ex Saudi King decided to gift him with RM2,6 billion so that he could use the money to lead this country to greater heights while protecting and enhancing the sanctity of Islam. But he made a silly mistake of returning the money to the deceased King after massive protests from the Opposition instead of fulfilling the Saudi King’s wishes and that’s why he is in a quandary now without enough funds to finance his RM50 million fine let alone another sentence of 15 years in prison and over a RM1 billion fine which will commence in 2028.

Clearly, Najib is up to his neck in deep s….water, so it isn’t very nice for donors to only donate one cent and fire abusive and expletive comments at him. Probably another donation drive will be made for the RM1.69 billion fine in 2028, and hopefully this time donor contributors can chip in at least RM1000 each if they want to make any more damning comments as no one is going to read these expensive comments anyway. If there are one million willing Malaysian citizens contributing this amount Najib would be freed in no time come 2028

Family ties

Already 4 years in a federal prison, most of his poor ardent supporters have given up hope. The only support is his family who stuck together through thick and thin, when the times were rough, and Najib was tough. Both his wife and kids went on to be very successful businessmen running multi-million dollar companies and also contributing millions in taxes to the government coffers. His wife Rosmah had a successful solar hybrid panel projects beside others and she saved sparingly enough to buy herself a few handbags and pink diamonds. Some say that She may have been scammed as some jewelers are suing her for unpaid jewelry. But who would be stupid enough to send her trays of jewelry worth millions without asking her for a deposit first?

Now that the world economy is going through rough times with COVID and the war in the Middle East, both mummy and the kids can least afford to pay back taxes amounting to many millions. So how can they chip in to help dear Daddy, when both Najib and family are experiencing poverty and hardship, as most of their measly assets and properties are frozen for no apparent reason?!

For this reason, some people who understood their predicament were willing to pardon Najib for his little misdemeanor and allow him to serve the rest of his sentence at home. It was solely the decision of the pardons board who still has wonderful people with a big heart, even though we know that FT Minister Hannah Yeoh wasn’t one of them.

But some people who are still bitter with Najib wants to fence up the house, so that he cannot simply walk out and attend the Bahraini formula 1. They are also questioning whether he should have access to the internet, mobile phone, Facebook and tik Tok. Some even wants to ensure that he adheres to a prison routine like retiring back to his room cell by a certain time. This way he cannot binge on Netflix soap operas until morning if they ever decide he gets to keep his14inch television set.

He will also be issued guards who will keep an eye on him 24 hours a day, and a cook to prepare his meals as he will be alone in the house. Relatives and friends are still welcome to visit him after registering with the guard post for a fixed number of hours. Even a mobile patrol team will be dispatched to ensure his safety so that no one can threaten him while he is in solitary confinement there.

However, we can be sure that when Najib finally gets out of prison this month hopefully, the whole country will have cause to rejoice. There will be celebration on the streets and people will thank the government profusely for justice well served.

Najib will no longer have to stare at 4 cold walls, or the strange seductive glares of hard-core convicts leering at him. He gets a warm bed without the air conditioning and plenty of time to reflect on his past. 4 years is long enough for anyone to regret their past actions and come to their senses. Whether stealing a pack of Milo or embezzling billions is still plain stealing. Malaysians need to see past the crime and learn to forgive and forget.
