In a country where mysteries are best told through alphabets rather than names, the latest political-corporate drama reads less like governance and more like a cryptic crossword puzzle.

At the centre of it all stands the ever-elusive Mr RX - not quite the king, but certainly the kingmaker’s courier.

Mr RX is not your ordinary office-going professional. No, he is a “coordinator,” a “facilitator,” a “translator of intentions” - depending on who you ask. To some, he is merely a middleman. To others, he is the human embodiment of a WhatsApp forward: always present, rarely accountable, and somehow involved in everything.

Hovering above him like a shadow in a dimly lit boardroom is Mr FX, the so-called “boss.” Now, in any respectable hierarchy, a boss gives orders. But in this peculiar ecosystem, the boss doesn’t just give orders - he allegedly bends reality. Accounts freeze and unfreeze like a malfunctioning refrigerator, shares move around like musical chairs, and pressure appears to be applied with the precision of a Michelin-star chef plating a dish.

And then, of course, there is Mr XX - the politician whose identity is apparently less important than his bank balance. Said to have received a sum that could make even lottery winners blush, Mr XX represents the political wing of this alphabet soup. A man of influence, or perhaps just a man conveniently placed at the right table when the menu was being decided.

The story unfolds like a theatre production. First act: accounts are frozen. Second act: panic sets in. Third act: enter Mr RX, the negotiator, whispering assurances while allegedly arranging the transfer of shares large enough to make stockbrokers weep. Somewhere in between, Mr XX receives a “gesture of goodwill,” presumably to ensure that the wheels of progress remain well-oiled - and the payments flowing.

But the real masterpiece comes in the form of the “boss factor.” Because in every good drama, the visible characters are merely pawns. Mr RX may speak, but it is Mr FX who is believed to script the dialogue. And while Mr RX allegedly confirms that “everything has been handed over,” the pressure, curiously, never quite goes away - like a subscription you forgot to cancel.

Meanwhile, the public watches this unfolding saga with a mixture of amusement and exhaustion. After all, in a nation that prides itself on transparency, nothing says clarity quite like referring to key players as if they were variables in a failed algebra equation.

One can’t help but wonder: is this governance, or simply a group of money-making project where nobody dares to put their name on the final submission?

In the end, the alphabet keeps growing, the plot thickens, and the question remains - not who these men are, but whether the system that enables them is the real protagonist of this story.

Because in the grand theatre of power, it is never just about Mr RX, Mr FX, or Mr XX. It is about the silent script that enables them all to operate behind the curtain of corporate and political dealings.

Disclaimer: This is a fictitious story using a “corporate mafia” analogy. The names RX, FX, and XX are imaginary characters and do not in any way refer to real persons.
