CONSTRUCTION technology startup BRKZ announced Monday that it has secured $31 million in new capital to advance its artificial intelligence pricing engine and expand its building materials procurement platform across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The financing package includes a $13 million Series B equity round co-led by Wa’ed Ventures — the venture capital arm of Saudi Aramco — and 500 Global, with additional participation from BECO Capital and Anb Seed Fund. The remaining $18 million consists of growth debt provided by Stride Ventures under a previously announced $30 million facility.
The company plans to use the capital to automate more of its procurement workflows, expand embedded financing solutions, and scale cross-border sourcing corridors with major manufacturing hubs such as China and India.
“The past 12 months have reinforced why we built BRKZ,” said Ibrahim Manna, founder and chief executive officer of BRKZ. “Even amid significant regional and supply-chain disruptions, we achieved record growth because contractors and factories still need reliable access to materials, competitive pricing, and dependable fulfillment.”
Founded in 2022, the Riyadh-based platform digitizes a traditionally fragmented construction procurement process. BRKZ connects more than 1,500 contracting companies and 150 building materials factories with roughly 2,100 local and international suppliers, streamlining pricing, quality assurance, logistics, and credit terms under a single platform.
The company projects its revenue will triple in 2026, following a 2.5-fold increase in 2025. Since its inception, BRKZ has processed more than $1.37 billion (SAR 5.13 billion) in requests for quotes (RFQs) and delivered over $133 million (SAR 500 million) in raw and finished construction materials.
Central to the company’s platform is a proprietary dataset of approximately 38 million structured data points spanning 13,000 product records. Trained on 40,000 RFQs, BRKZ’s AI engine predicts buy and sell prices with 84 percent to 89 percent of predictions falling within 5 percent of the final transacted price. The company also employs operational AI agents, such as “Nusa,” which autonomously processes approximately 75 percent of bulk-cement delivery notes via messaging applications without human intervention.
“Building materials procurement is one of the largest, least digitized categories in the Saudi economy, and BRKZ has methodically built the infrastructure and data needed to solve it at scale,” said Amjad Ahmad, managing partner at 500 Global.
The capital injection comes as Saudi Arabia advances major Vision 2030 giga-projects. BRKZ currently supplies contractors working on developments including The Red Sea Project, Diriyah, Qiddiya, ROSHN, and King Salman Park.
Earlier this year, the platform also secured strategic investment from SIC, the investment arm of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund.
With this latest funding, BRKZ has raised more than $70 million in total equity and debt to date. CIH
