Saudi Pro League officials are in contact with Luciano Spalletti.
The former Napoli coach is being offered a contract of 20-30m-a-year to move to Saudi Arabia.
No club names have been raised, though Al-Hilal and Al-Ettifaq are among SPL clubs seeking a new coach.
TMW says any move for Spalletti, however, will depend on Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis.
If he is to take the offer, Spalletti will speak with ADL to explain his position after walking away at the end of last season.
