Street food in Malaysia has always been vibrant with lots of mixture from our multi-racial ethnicity here. Its to no surprise at all that everyone here have tasted good satay before. Malaysian street food is known for its diverse flavors and influences from the country's many cultural background.

Amongst the most popular street food are Satay: Grilled and skewered meat (usually chicken, beef, or lamb but now we have transitioned to deer and rabbit meat too) served with peanut sauce and cucumber slices.

Sate (or satay) is a dish that originated in Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. It typically consists of marinated and skewered grilled meat (usually chicken, beef, or lamb) served with peanut sauce and various accompaniments.

This particular stall is located in Lembah Keramat. No 1, Gerai MPAJ, Jln. AU 5, 54200 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. You definitely won't missed it as it is the first stall there. Just look out for the smoke from the satay stalls. Located right smack in Kuala Lumpur area makes it easier for folks to drop by. Opening hours are from 3pm-11pm. During fasting month, perhaps the timing still applies.

This stall is owned by my dear friend Norhazly Muslim. This family owned business have been operating since 1985.

Other than satay, they also sell other food including Mee Rebus, Bakso.

All in all, we ate close to 60 satay sticks comprises of Satay Perut, Daging Batang Pinang, and Chicken. Free top ups of the gravy as well. Not bad for 5 adults dinner totaling less than RM120.

If I were to give star ratings it would be 4.7 out of 5. Go there yourself and judge it. It gets hectic as nightfall so I am guessing during Ramadan for buka puasa, it might be double the usual crowd.

All in all, I know one thing's for sure. I will go there again soon for buka puasa!

See ya there!
