🍁 Matthew 10: 6-7, 9-15
🍁 Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, preach this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is near.
Do not take along any gold or silver or copper in your belts; take no bag for the journey, or extra tunic, or sandals or a staff; for the worker is worth his keep. "Whatever town or village you enter, search for some worthy person there and stay at his house until you leave. As you enter the home, give it your greeting. If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you. If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town. I tell you the truth, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.

☘️ Jesus's ministry began with them.
The Jewish people were looking for the Messiah, and Jesus was fulfilling that expectation.
☘️ Later the ministry was eventually extended to the Gentiles
☘️ The parable of the lost sheep illustrates God's love and concern for every individual, including those who have strayed from the path.
☘️ Jesus instructs his disciples to go on their mission without any material preparation, relying on God's provision and the hospitality of others, emphasizing that the worker is worth his keep.
☘️ When they come into a new town or village, the disciples should find out who is worthy and stay with them until they leave town.

☘️ It symbolizes a declaration that the people or place has rejected the message of the gospel and the disciples are no longer responsible for their spiritual state.
👉 It will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.
☘️ Indicating that those who refuse to accept the message of the gospel may face judgment.
☘️ Some lost sheep who refuse to return to the fold and reject the message of the gospel may face judgment.
☘️ The disciples are instructed to leave and move on to other places where their message might be received.
