Emil Krafth has hopes of landing a new contract at Newcastle United.
Krafth's contract expires this summer and Fotbolldirekt says a new deal is close to being struck.
It involves Newcastle exercising an option to keep Krafth for another year.
It's also been revealed Malm FF, FC Copenhagen and Brndby IF have all tried to sign the 29-year-old.
The 29-year-old was not against a move to Scandinavia, but the highest priority has been to stay with Newcastle.
