A schoolgirl was killed in a road accident near Aihju under Jogindernagar subdivision of Mandi district today. The accident occurred when a vehicle bearing registration number HP-28A-6746 allegedly hit Anu, a resident of Mandi district. The local people and authorities rushed the injured girl to Baijnath Civil Hospital for treatment.
Despite efforts by doctors, the girl succumbed to her injuries during treatment.
Truck plunges into gorge
Shimla: One person was killed after the pickup truck he was travelling in plunged into a gorge in Ghanvi village under Rampur subdivision, Shimla district. The deceased has been identified as Shishu Pal, a resident of Ghanvi, Shimla district.
According to the police, the accident took place today on Ghanvi-Kaio link road when he lost control of the vehicle.
