Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Construction and Machinery Expo 2023 (SCME 2023) is set to be held at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) here later this year.
Its organising committee said the much-awaited event, jointly organised by the Sabah Builders Association (SBA) and Impact Zone Sdn Bhd is scheduled on May 5-7.
SBA President Tsen Nyuk Chen said SCME2023 is designed to provide a platform for the built environment industries' policy makers, leaders and players to showcase, teach and learn the latest innovation in building technologies, methodologies, products and services.
Early this week, Tsen with members paid a courtesy call to the Brunei Darussalam Consulate General Hipni Matarsad to promote and brief the mechanics and advantages of the event.
The expo, among other things, will highlight diverse sectors such as specialised contractors, suppliers, designers, solution providers, consultancies, professional services, and property developers, among others.
This year’s theme is ‘Green Technology, Industry 4.0’, the president said.
The event will also feature many more enjoyable and stimulating programmes for the participants and visitors to join and explore, according to Tsen.
