A plaque honouring Scott Mills has been removed following the radio presenter’s sacking from the BBC.

In March 2016, Fleet Services on the M3 motorway unveiled a plaque dedicated to the DJ following a campaign on his show to get the bridge named after him.

However, a decade later, the sign has been removed after the 53-year-old was fired over “allegations about his personal conduct”. On Wednesday (1 April), Mills confirmed the historic police investigation.

The now-empty plaque was spotted at the service station on Thursday (2 April).
