SDGs: 100 stakeholders undergo 2-day training

Kota Kinabalu: Some 100 stakeholders are participating in a two-day Capacity Building Training on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of The Kinabalu Unesco World Heritage Site, Crocker Range Biosphere Reserve and Kinabalu Unesco Global Geopark until today (Wednesday).

They are from the District Office, City Hall, local authorities as well as departments and agencies under the Sabah Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment (KePKAS).

Others are from the Sabah Biodiversity Centre, Sabah State Attorney’s Office, Forest, Irrigation and Drainage, Agriculture and Fisheries Departments, as well as tourism associations and NGOs.

KePKAS Minister Datuk Christina Liew said their cooperation is essential to ensure that the tourism industry in Sabah grows, subsequently stimulating the socio-economic development of Sabah.
