PENAMPANG: A landslide triggered by continuous rainfall on Monday struck the Country Heights Apartment on Monday, damaging several vehicles and affecting a residential block.
The incident occurred after hours of heavy downpour, when mud and debris cascaded down a slope onto the apartment’s parking bay.
Several cars were damaged, while earth materials piled up against the ground floor of one of the blocks.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
This marks the second landslide at the residential area, with a similar incident recorded in 2021, reigniting concerns about slope stability at the site.
