
BANGI: A security guard was charged in the magistrates’ court here today with the murder of his six-month-old son.
Aizat Samin, 25, nodded when the charge was read out to him before magistrate Nurdiyanah Nawawi. No plea was recorded as murder cases fall under the jurisdiction of the High Court.
He is accused of murdering Aysar Wildan at an apartment in Beranang between 8pm on April 14 and 7.40am the following day.
The court fixed May 28 for mention of the case.

On Wednesday, Kajang deputy police chief Nasir Drahman said a man lodged a police report at 8.52am on April 15 stating that his baby was found unconscious in an apartment unit.
“The initial examination found that there were no injuries on the victim’s body, but the results of the post-mortem confirmed there were injuries on the victim’s head which were not caused by an accident,” he said.
