Earlier this week, Chinese mega star Fan BingBing had the opportunity to have an audience with Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, following her attendance at the Singapore International Film Festival.
And it appears that she didn’t get enough of Malaysia because the very next day (Thursday, 7 November), she decided to visit SS2, Petaling Jaya, for some durian!
Taking to her official Facebook page, she shared how much she enjoyed trying out all the different types of durians available there.
She wrote, “Wow! Malaysian durians, sedapnya (so tasty)! This is HEAVEN for all durian lovers! I’ve tried D101, D24 XO, Tekka, D197 Musang King, D200 Black Thorn. Wow!”
Not only did she get to immerse herself in a variety of the king of fruits, but she also managed learned a special Malaysian tip on how to beat the heatiness of durians.
“They also taught me to drink (water) from the durian carpel to avoid body heat, so interesting!”
What an amazing way to explore Malaysia, through our food. We genuinely hope that she also managed to try our local delicacies!
