KOTA BELUD: Knowledge and experience possessed by former native leaders are important in fostering unity amongst local communities in the transformation of rural areas.
Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Datuk Ewon Benedick said the former head of customs in the Kadamaian State Legislative Assembly is encouraged to continue to play a role in contributing ideas, especially related to customs.
“This is because they have more extensive knowledge or experience regarding customary law in helping to solve problems at the village level, including upholding justice and maintaining harmony among the people.
