Sekolah Kebangsaan Putrajaya Presint 11(1) made history after being named the winner of the 2025 World’s Best School Prize.
The award, organised by global education group T4 Education, celebrates schools around the world for their innovation, social impact, and all-rounded approach to learning, Kosmo! reported.
They clinched the win in the Supporting Healthy Lives category
The Ministry of Education (MOE) celebrated on Facebook after Sekolah Kebangsaan Putrajaya Presint 11(1) won the prize in the Supporting Healthy Lives category.
The win came thanks to the school’s innovative HELPIE app project, created by students under the guidance of teacher Mohd Saharudin bin Setapa, which has helped over 1,400 students with their mental health.
“Congratulations to Sekolah Kebangsaan Putrajaya Presint 11(1) for bringing home the award through the HELPIE app project,” MOE wrote.
To mark the big moment, MOE and Yayasan Hasanah hosted a special gathering at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) yesterday (30 September) to watch the live announcement of winners around the world. The school had earlier made it to the top 10 finalists for the prestigious award.

MOE added that this win is especially meaningful as it puts Malaysia’s education sector on the global stage.
According to Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek, the recognition proves that schools in Malaysia are not only capable of transforming students’ lives locally but also serve as an inspiration for global change in education.
“We are showing that our schools can create something truly impactful, not just for our students but also worthy of global recognition. Teachers also played a consistent guiding role from the beginning, ensuring that the students’ potential and the application developed was truly remarkable,” she added.
