SELANGOR FC climbed to third in the Super League after a commanding 3-0 victory over Melaka FC.

The Red Giants took an early lead through Jordanian midfielder Noor Al-Rawabdeh in the second minute.

Alvin Fortes doubled the advantage in the 10th minute with a powerful long-range strike.

Al-Rawabdeh then provided the assist for Brazilian striker Chrigor Flores Moraes to score the third goal just three minutes later.

Selangor dominated the second half but could not add to their tally.

The result moves Selangor level on 25 points with Kuala Lumpur City FC.

Selangor’s superior goal difference sees them leapfrog KL City into third place.
