Selangor FC thrashed Immigration FC 4-0 to retake second place in the Super League, moving ahead of Kuala Lumpur City on goal difference

SELANGOR FC reclaimed second place in the Super League standings with a commanding 4-0 victory over Immigration FC.

The match at the Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium saw the Red Giants dominate from the outset.

Chrigor Moraes opened the scoring in the 28th minute with a headed finish from Faisal Halim’s cross.

Ahmad Zikri Mohd Khalili then doubled the lead just before half-time.

Selangor maintained their intensity after the break and extended their lead in the 79th minute.

Moraes secured his brace by powerfully converting a cross from Alvin Fortes.

Victor Pernambuco completed the rout by netting his first goal of the campaign late in the match.

The comprehensive win lifts Selangor to 39 points, level with Kuala Lumpur City FC.

The Red Giants now hold the advantage on superior goal difference.

Selangor’s next fixture is a crucial clash against KL City this Sunday.

That match will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium.
