Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari has expressed his sympathies to Meru assemblywoman Mariam Abdul Rashid following the passing of her husband.
SHAH ALAM: Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari has extended his condolences to Meru assemblywoman Mariam Abdul Rashid on the passing of her husband early this morning.
Amirudin conveyed his sympathies in a Facebook post, stating, “Innalillahi wainnailaihi rojiun. I extend my condolences to Yang Berhormat Mariam Abdul Rashid, Meru assemblywoman, on the passing of her husband, Abu Bakar Din.”
He added a prayer that the deceased’s soul be blessed, his sins forgiven, and that he be placed among the believers.
Mariam had earlier announced via her own Facebook account that her husband passed away at 12.30 am.
She said his remains were brought back to their residence in Kampung Merbau Sempak, Sungai Buloh, with funeral arrangements being carried out today.
