SHAH ALAM, Nov 25 — The Selangor state government will allocate RM7.9 million to the agricultural sector, especially for food agriculture through the Food Security Programme, says Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.
“This year has been a challenging year in terms of economy, not only for the state of Selangor but also the country and the whole world as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Similar situations are felt in the agricultural sector, especially in the early stages when the Movement Control Order (MCO) was implemented in the country,” he said during the tabling of the 2023 Selangor Budget at the State Secretariat Building, here today.
