KUALA LUMPUR, July 27 — The Selangor Travel Fair 2025 is showcasing a wide range of attractive tourist destinations with worthwhile deals, successfully sparking public interest in planning their next getaway.
Held at Pasar Seni, the two-day programme, which kicked off yesterday, brings together over 30 tourism operators offering exclusive promotions, including discounts of up to 50 per cent.

A visitor from Sepang, Nurul Dalila Dania Kamarulzaman, 21, expressed her excitement at discovering numerous interesting destinations she had never heard of despite being a native of the state.
“I grew up in Selangor but only just found out there are so many places I have never heard of. Today I came specifically to get tickets to Gamuda Cove because the price is really worth it,” she told Media Selangor during the fair yesterday.
Meanwhile, Macau tourists, Emily, 32, and Carrick, 32, who stopped by the fair by chance, welcomed the event, describing it as a valuable source of information for international visitors.

“We were just strolling around Pasar Seni when we came across this exhibition. There are so many places in Selangor we did not know about.
“If we have the time, we will definitely go,” they said.
For Muhammad Aliff Irfan Rushdan, 24, who recently moved to Shah Alam from Pahang, the Travel Fair presents a great opportunity to plan a birthday trip.
“The places I have chosen include Windmill Fun Park in Semenyih, Jumpstreet Asia, and Farm Fresh@UPM. I have just discovered many exciting places for relaxation.
“It is definitely worth coming,” he said.

More than just a promotional platform, the travel exhibition organised by Tourism Selangor also introduces various tourism segments, including theme parks, agro-tourism, homestays, community-based tourism, and eco-tourism, which are increasingly popular.
The programme, which runs until today, is expected to continue attracting both local and international visitors keen to explore the uniqueness of Selangor.
