Love, an important language and topic that has never been taught in school, but something that people around us constantly teaches with actions. If not, you'll learn these lessons in every relationship, constantly repeating until you remember how to love. Love is built on open and honest communication, where both people feel safe to express their thoughts, fears, and hopes. It's not just about sharing the good moments but also about standing together through the challenges. True love means facing problems as a team, not turning away or hiding struggles. When both partners are willing to listen, understand, and work through difficulties together, the relationship grows stronger and deeper.
However, Wang, a truck driver in China did it differently. According to See Hua News, Wang has been single all this while due to his introverted personality. He then finally met someone and began dating last year, where things went well and they even started planning for their future of getting engaged next year.
While Wang was happily enjoying his life, a catastrophe came, where he was involved in a car accident that drained him financially. The cost of repairing his truck left him in a tight spot. Instead of open communication, Wang decided to hide it from his girlfriend, causing himself great distress. In his desperation, Wang then recalled that his uncle, who was significantly older than him and always been single had actually expressed his desire to find a companion earlier. At the same time, his uncle had some savings, which Wang thought would be a way to get him out of his financial troubles.
He then kicked off this crazy idea of introducing his girlfriend to his uncle to get some money, thinking that "Maybe my uncle could help me pay off my debts and be happy at the same time." Without discussing it with his girlfriend, Wang went ahead with his plan. He told his uncle that he had someone to introduce to him and asked his girlfriend to meet his uncle under the pretext of "meeting an elder."
During the dinner, Wang tried to matchmake his girlfriend with his uncle, which left his girlfriend stunned. Wang quietly told her, "Please cooperate, I’m in a difficult situation, I’ll explain everything later." However, his girlfriend, angry and confused, left the dinner before it was finished. Instead of clarifying the situation with his uncle, Wang accepted RMB5K (approx. RM3K) from his uncle, claiming it was for a gift for the woman he had introduced. Wang explained it was to show his uncle’s affection for her, but soon after, he kept asking his uncle for more money, using various excuses. He even asked his girlfriend to spend time alone with his uncle, such as having meals or going shopping together.
As time passed, his girlfriend began to feel more and more uncomfortable with the situation. Eventually, she realized that Wang had been using her as a tool to get money. His girlfriend then decided to break up, and has now blocked him on all sorts of social media and never gets in touch anymore. Well, the truth always finds a way to surface and you can’t keep a secret forever, Wang's uncle and other relatives soon discovered the truth and scolded him for being heartless. His uncle also demanded the return of the money he had given, leaving Wang losing in both sides. Though he had expressed his regret, it's too late to fix it now.
