
SEOUL, April 9 — The mayor of Seoul, Oh Se–hoon, will announce his bid for the South Korean presidency, Yonhap News Agency reported today.
South Korea will hold a presidential election on June 3, after former president Yoon Suk Yeol’s impeachment stemming from a December martial law declaration was upheld on April 4.
Oh will declare his run for president on April 13, Yonhap said.
