Former Italy star Aldo Serena is backing a move to AC Milan for Alvaro Morata.
The Atletico Madrid striker is being linked with Milan this week.
Serena told Tuttosport of the former Juventus striker: "Morata. In (Stefano) Pioli's formation, with three players behind the centre-forward, it is essential to have a striker capable of communicating and side with his teammates.
"Morata performs these tasks well and, at the same time, is able to collect the balls crossed from the back. The former Juventus player is the one who most resembles (Olivier) Giroud, very good at this double job.
