Serendipity Arts launches its London programme today through two public preview projects. While ‘Eyes Shall Deceive’ is set to premiere at Innovation Lates, the Science Museum’s after-hours programme, ‘Giants on the Move’ will animate Exhibition Road as part of the Great Exhibition Road Festival on June 6–7. The festival is a free annual celebration of science and the arts each summer in South Kensington.

‘Eyes Shall Deceive’ (Nainan Ki Thagi) has been conceived as an immersive multidisciplinary performance. The work brings together composer Sneha Khanwalkar and contemporary artist Sudarshan Shetty in a dynamic interplay of live music, sound, visual storytelling, and performance. Inspired by informal musical folklore and street performance traditions across contemporary Indian cities, the work explores memory, illusion, and collective experience through an evocative audiovisual environment.

Extending beyond the museum and into the public realm, ‘Giants on the Move’, directed by renowned puppeteer Dadi Pudumjee, who is also founder of the The Ishara Puppet Theatre Trust, features a large-scale public procession of giant puppets, live percussion, and moving sculpture. The project draws from India’s rich heritage of artisanal puppet-making to reimagine the street as a shared civic stage — inviting audiences into an immersive celebration of movement, participation, and public art.

With this London programme, Serendipity Arts continues to strengthen its global cultural presence, building bridges between artistic traditions, contemporary practices, and international audiences. Rooted in experimentation and collaboration, these projects reflect the organisation’s enduring commitment to shaping new spaces for creative exchange across geographies.

According to a press release, the announcement marks a significant new chapter in Serendipity Arts’ international growth following a milestone year for Serendipity Arts. In December 2025, the Serendipity Arts Festival in Panjim, Goa, celebrated its 10th anniversary. Held annually with free public access, the festival has grown into South Asia’s largest multidisciplinary arts festival, welcoming more than one million visitors and participants from over 50 countries over the past decade. The 11th edition will be held from December 13-20.
