Sergi Canos has been secured to a new deal at Brentford.
The midfielder had been loaned out to Olympiakos and Brentford have chosen to use an option that extends his contract by one year.
Thomas Frank is happy about the extension, and calls the Spaniard a Brentford legend.
"Last season was difficult for Sergi. His start to the season was delayed by injury and he didn't feel he was getting enough games for us.
"In the second half of the season, he started to find form at Olympiakos, but was then hit by injuries again.
"That's why we need to get Sergi fit this summer, so he can get back to his best and make a big contribution for us.
"Like Pontus Jansson and Saman Ghoddos, Sergi is already a Brentford legend and I look forward to having him back in pre-season."
