
Serian records Malaysia’s only unhealthy API reading at 157, while 62 areas report moderate and five areas report good air quality
KUALA LUMPUR: The Serian District Police Headquarters (IPD) in Sarawak is the only area still recording an unhealthy Air Pollutant Index (API) reading, at 157 as of 4 pm today.
According to the Air Pollutant Index Management System (APIMS) portal, 62 areas across the country recorded moderate API levels and five areas recorded good levels.
An API reading of zero to 50 indicates good air quality, 51 to 100 moderate, 101 to 200 unhealthy, 201 to 300 very unhealthy, and 300 and above dangerous.
